Who we are
We are Johnny and Helen Gallagher. We were married in 2010 but have known each other since 1995. Between us we have 4 beautiful daughters. Johnny´s background consists of security, management, and construction. Helens is of nursing, caring, and learning support tutor. Restored 2 hope is our ministry birthed out of our service within Tenerife Family Church. Johnny attended and completed bible school graduating in 2018. We were part of Tenerife Family Church (TFC) in Tenerife from 2012. Johnny´s roles of service within the church have been pastoring street ministry, men's ministry, planting a TFC sister church, pastor of the House of Hope (halfway house), running House groups and leading support groups (Celebrate Recovery etc). We are both elders within our present church and Helen runs a weekly ladies ministry.
We both have a heart for the lost hence the birth of Restored 2 hope. Together we work as a pastoral team supporting the work of our church and its outreaches along with running and developing the new venture of our ministry (more information in our Retreat section). We host support groups, come along side those who are vulnerable, do hospital and home visits. By sharing the word of God and the love of Christ we aim to bring people into a relationship with Jesus so that none will perish.
We felt our calling was to leave Tenerife and step out in faith and make the move to the Spanish mainland. God called us out to take our vision to the next level by stretching out our tent pegs and to begin the journey of the new and bigger picture. We felt God stirring us towards this move several years ago and over that period of time God has been teaching and equipping us for the tasks ahead. He has set out the road and we have now stepped out in faith. In 2021 we took that leap, and we are now on the Spanish mainland continuing and growing the ministry into a new level. Restored2hope has been launched into the fullness of Gods will and we will continue to do His work.

I'm delighted to endorse Restored to Hope Ministries, Johnny and Helen have been part of TFC for eight years they have been on a journey of growth that I'm delighted to have been a part of. After Johnny had completed his two-year IBIC Bible and Theology Diploma it thrilled me to ask him to become part of the leadership team as an associate Pastor. His heart for the lost has been evident and with Helen they have been a hardworking team coming alongside the broken. I believe Restored to Hope Ministries will have a significant impact on this island as they minister to people who they come in contact with. Johnny and Helen are two very different individuals but complement each other's giftings. Together, the Father will use them mightily. Helen´s heart is visibly to nurture and care for those around her. She has a gentleness about her when she carries His peace, but also has a warrior spirit which can also be used by Him. She has an amazing gifting of hospitality. Johnny´s heart is deeply pastoral, seeking to build relationships with those around him and encourage them in His ways. They both really want to look after the people, getting to know their characters and their needs. They portray the Father's heart with humility, and have great vision to complement their passion. It has been a joy to see them grow into the new things the Lord has for them. We are encouraged to be on this journey with them and look forward to supporting one another in the Lord´s ministry here at the House of Hope.
